Material is a gallery /bookshop based in Ludlow (Shropshire) and London (Shoreditch). We sell beautiful prints and artwork designed by artists from all over the world, working a myriad of disciplines including giclŽe prints, silkscreen prints, letterpress, furniture making, product design, and interiors. We also sell books concerned with design and aesthetics (in subjects such as Graphic Design, Typography, illustration, fashion, architecture, photography, furniture /product design).

Katy Goutefangea, a printmaker from Hackney and member of the East London Printmakers, has created a delicious array of products all hand drawn and hand printed from water based silk screen printing and letterpress printing techniques. Her intricate patterns, of which is the main focus of her work, are referenced from objects and textures found in nature and everyday life.
