Weekends and UK Bank Holidays are not considered working days. Due to working with small companies and producers, and increases in seasonal demand, there may be times when longer delivery times occur. UK FIRST CLASS SIGNED FOR: Your item will be sent using Royal Mail tracked service and will be due to arrive one working day after dispatch. This is not 100% guaranteed. Items will be dispatched to the shipping address that you supply when placing an order.
All tracked / recorded deliveries require a signature on accepting: If you or someone on your behalf is not able to sign for the delivery, the carrier will leave a card to arrange a re-delivery at a suitable time. Cards can only be left where there is access to secure post boxes, therefore some shared accommodation and apartment buildings will not receive delivery cards as a matter of security.
We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund; however we will try to contact you in this case to arrange for a new order to be placed if required.
Why brands with a purpose do better and matter more.
Written by David Hieatt
The most important brands in the world make us feel something. They do that because they have something they want to change. And as customers, we want to be part of that change. These companies have a reason to exist over and above making a profit: They have a Purpose. Yes, we love the product they make. But the thing we love most about them is the change they are making.
Purpose is an incredibly powerful thing. It provides the strength to fight the impossible. It tells your story, it builds your teams and it defines your culture.
In Do Purpose, David Hieatt offers insights on how to build one of these purpose-driven companies. You know, those rare brands we all fall in love with. The crazy ones that don’t just make something, but change something as well.
Launched in May 2013, the Do Book Company is an independent publishing house based in Shoreditch, London. Producing a series of inspirational pocket guidebooks in print and digital formats, each Do Book is writer by a Do Lecture speaker whose ideas have inspired others to go and Do. Recreating that same positive change into book form – whether it’s the mastery of a new skill or craft, a simple mindshift, or a shot of inspiration to help you get started, each book focuses on the ‘doing’ rather than the background theory. Concise, practical guides that make it easier to Do stuff.
