DOG Magazine Issue 6

DOG is a modern lifestyle magazine exploring the presence and influence of dogs and their owners in society. Each issue centers on a common topic and explores the meaningful interactions and love of individuals and their dogs through photographic portfolios, interviews, personal essays, informative material on breeds and creative content.

Issue 06 of DOG magazine visits designer Dries Van Noten at his beautiful home in Belgium, where he discusses the inspiration behind his most recent collection, the fashion scene in Antwerp, and what life is like with his dog, Harry the Airedale Terrier, who is this issue's cover star. Sadly, Harry passed away just before we went to print, so this issue is dedicated to him.

Also take a trip to Yorkshire – the Airedale's birthplace – as part of the travel section, to discover the rolling dales and rural landscape this breed calls home, and also explore some of the county's most famous exports, from Yorkshire tea to David Hockney.

Plus a chat with Kate Spicer, the author behind Lost Dog: A Love Story, to find out what it takes to write a bestselling memoir, and how she coped with losing her beloved pooch, Wolfy.
