Written by Anja Dunk, Mimi Beaven & Jen Goss

How do you capture the intense flavour of freshly picked seasonal produce to enjoy all year round? Combining their experience as cooks, caterers, foragers and farmers, three friends bring you the essential guide to preserving. With techniques and recipes handed-down through the generations and deliciously inventive recipes from their own kitchens, you’ll soon learn the basic principles and methods of preserving with over 80 recipes to try out at home from Green Tomato Chutney to Strawberry Gin Fizz.

Three friends from Wales; Anja Dunk is a caterer and freelance cook, Mimi Beaven and her husband Richard, founded the brand Made In Ghent, and Jen Gos runs catering company, Our Two Acres, using fresh produce from her smallholding.

Launched in May 2013, the Do Book Company is an independent publishing house based in Shoreditch, London. Producing a series of inspirational pocket guidebooks in print and digital formats, each Do Book is writer by a Do Lecture speaker whose ideas have inspired others to go and Do. Recreating that same positive change into book form – whether it’s the mastery of a new skill or craft, a simple mindshift, or a shot of inspiration to help you get started, each book focuses on the ‘doing’ rather than the background theory. Concise, practical guides that make it easier to Do stuff.
